New Images from the Narratives Opening!
Another Hell Week has come and gone ending with yet another grand opening. The EXTRA challenge of setting up for this show was the fact that I was quite injured. I got a bike. I was very excited about it. I haven't really ridden a bike since I was a kid. The phrase, "It's just like riding a bike!" doesn't really apply to me. It took me a while before I felt comfortable riding again. Then two fridays while attempting to run some errands it happened: I fell. No, nothing hit me, I wasn't swerving out of the way of any crazed animal, I just fell. I was avoiding something on a sidewalk, swerved onto some gravel, tried to swerve back and the bike just went out from under me. Luckily, I was wearing my helmet, otherwise I have no idea what state I would be in right now because I hit my head HARD. Other injuries included: A sprained wrist, a bruised and scraped elbow, massively scraped shoulder, massively scraped hip, and several bruises on my legs, one which is huge, dark, and very colorful. Perfect timing. My right wrist (dominant side) was sprained (still is) and for days I could hardly move my left shoulder or elbow. But as always, the show somehow came together. Thankfully, I got by with a little help from my friends. Thanks to those who helped me hang this show!: Desi, Chesley, Walt, Shea, Justin, Lindsey, Carrie, Deborah, and Mark Burch. I hope I'm not forgetting anyone. Here are a few from the opening. Images of just the show soon to come!
